名古屋城はお城だけでなく、敷地内の自然も重要な文化財です。私はその自然をただ観光で見るだけにしてしまうのはあまりに惜しいと考えました。そこで私は誰でも気軽にスマートフォンで撮影できる時代を生かし、スマホで写真を撮って図鑑を作ることができたら名古屋城を散策するのが楽しくなると思いこの植物図鑑のアプリを考案しました。

Not only castle buildings, but also nature in the castle site is the important cultural heritage. I thought that it is too bad if visitors just see it as something extra to sightseeing. So, I developed a plant database app just for the plants found in the site of Nagoya Castle so that visitors can enjoy walking around the castle site as they take pictures of plants with smartphone cameras to make their own pictorial plant database on the app.
