名古屋城本丸御殿の障壁画に注目しました。本丸御殿の障壁画は四季の並びになっている部屋が多くあります。そこで、それらを解説するパンフレットを制作しました。パンフレットでは障壁画の四季の他に、城内に絵のモチーフとなっている植物がある場合はその植物も知ることも出来ます。実物を見て·知って、より深く障壁画について理解してもらえたら嬉しいです。

I focused on screen and wall paintings in Nagoya Castle’s Honmaru Goten Palace. In the palace, there are many rooms where the screen and wall paintings in the room are arranged in the order of four seasons. So, I produced a brochure with descriptions on those screens and wall paintings. On the brochure, you can learn about what season is drawn in each painting. In addition, if actual plant, which is drawn in the paintings, can be found in the castle site, it tells the location where you can find the plant. It would be my pleasure if you could deepen your understandings on the screen and wall paintings in Honmaru Goten Palace by seeing and knowing about the real flower and trees that are drawn in the paintings.
