私は、名古屋城敷地内の建造物の屋根を実際に観察しながら、そこに施された数多くの装飾の意味や詳細を知ることのできるスマホサイトを制作しました。本丸御殿の豪華絢爛な内装に関心を持つ人が多いかと思いますが、敷地内の建造物の屋根もそれぞれ意匠が凝らされています。注目しづらい細部にまで職人の想いが込められていることの面白さを共有できたら幸いです。

Having observed roofs of the buildings in the site of Nagoya Castle, I developed a website for a smartphone on which visitors can learn meanings and details of numerous decorations on the roofs, including crests and patterns which are considered as talismans for fire safety, family prosperity, etc. is contained. Although many visitors tend to pay attention to gorgeous interior furnishings in the Honmaru Goten Palace, every roof of the buildings in the castle site is also well-wrought. It would be my pleasure if I could share the interestingness that artisans put their spirits in every detail, which are even inconspicuous, with the visitors.
